Products made with Gore-Tex Paclite

Gore-Tex Paclite has been specifically engineered to be light and packable. It combines the durability, breathability and wind and waterproof properties of Gore-Tex with a light weight and smaller size due to the fabric being thinner.

Due to it's light weight and smaller size, it's very useful for light jackets that still need to be waterproof and breathable.

Regular Gore-Tex is a three layer fabric consisting of a waterproof outer layer, an inner lining layer and a middle membrane to provide breathability. Gore-Tex Paclite is durable enough that it doesn't require the inner lining layer, resulting in garments that typically weigh 15 percent less than similar 3-layer GORE-TEX® garments and are less bulky to pack. And because they don't have the inner lining, they're even more breathable than garments with a 3-layer Gore-Tex fabric.
