Initially developed for the US Military, it was designed to be a replacement for Goose Down. Goose Down absorbs moisture and loses its insulating properties once it gets wet Primaloft was designed to overcome this problem. It is a now one of the best insulating materials used in outdoor products today.

A patented microfibre structure creates millions of tiny air spaces within the material. These air spaces act as the insulating layer and are so small water cannot penetrate them. This results in a material that is extremely warm and refuses to absorb water, keeping you warm even in the wettest conditions!
