Protex is a lightweight, ripstop polyester fabric used by Vango to manufacture their tents. It's combination of light weight, strength, durability and ripstop means that it's an ideal fabric for flysheets. The water repellent coating is several layers of polyurethane, resulting in a long-lasting finish.
