Berghaus Men's Yala Peak

Just purchased a Yala Peak, it's remarkably lightweight. Don't under-estimate, it is very waterproof and windproof. I found I didn't need to layer too much, as the jacket keeps me warm. Very disappointed with the front main zip, as the new drainage flap keeps folding back the wrong way. The zip often snags material when pulling it up or down. The hood is very good. Apart from zip problem it is a good lightweight, all year jacket.

Just purchased the Yala Peak by Berghaus, tried it out on the Langdale Fells, although quite mild the rain was hard, I am the type that gets hot quick and although felt sweaty inside the jacket, I found the pit zips helped get the airflow going with out letting in the rain. Also, the pockets accessible with rucksack on, nice deep pockets on side and chest pockets adequate, loved the hood, although I understand, not suitable for a helmet. All in all felt the jacket preformed well, and was nice and dry when we got back to the car. No moisture anywhere inside the coat, and my t-shirt had no damp patches, so I was pleased with my purchase.
