The down in this jacket is protected from snow, be it heavy or light, because the outer material is permanently water-repellent and windproof. The 80/20 down mix with 550 cuin down fill power offers exceptional protection from the cold. Fleece inner cuffs and a synthetically insulated hood with faux fur trim, which keeps wind and snow out, enhance heat retention.
