What a neat simple and efficient stove to take anywhere (ever tried using gas in a wind or in cold temperatures? TRANGIA's work!). When travelling to Canada I took mine, without fuel of course, and when I arrived in Vancouver I asked in a general store/filling station if they had any Meths. "What for?" - "My stove" - In the Canadian Army we used anti-freeze. So I bought a litre for my TRANGIA and, as it happened, we got stuck miles from home late at night but were able to have a hot drink thanks to the Trangia and the Anti-freeze. In Canada the anti-freeze is almost pure alcohol and burned as well as meths. BE PREPARED with your own TRANGIA.
