Customer reviews

The Tilley T3 in Olive that I took delivery of a couple of weeks ago is just great. Has been used on many occasions already and all the advertised qualities are completely accurate. Sizing perfect if you follow the guide. The quality is a cut above any other and the hat is well worth every penny. This will not be the only Tilley I will own for sure as I am so pleased that I already have my eye on the next!
Phil, Wirral

Not really a review as my Tilley hat has only just arrived. However, I am delighted with your excellent service as my hat was received less than 24hours after ordering. As for my hat, well I am so excited at finally owning a Tilley hat. The fit feels slightly strange as it is larger than I expected, but is apparently just right. Now to take my Tilley off for a walk!
Sue Dennis, Isle of Man

This has lasted me for years, unfortunately due to an accident and hurting my head as a result of a fall, my precious hat became covered in blood. It was soaked in cold water, but we were travelling and it was not soaked long enough and is still stained - so I need another one! Finally it is wearing out after travelling around the world and walking thousands of miles. I love it so much I am ordering another one. I will not throw it out!!!!

I bought my my Tilley hat back in 1996, it's been fantastic in all types of weather and machine washed I don't know how many times! The hat still looks as good as the day I bought it, and still have some Bragg tags left !

I bought a Tilly hat in 2000 when I was heading off on a charity trek to Alaska with SENSE. WE have rarely been parted ever since until I left it on a pier in Crete last year. Needless to say whoever found it will keep it for another 15 years. I have missed it and desperate to get another. Its been on other charity treks to Peru, and Africa. One of my finest purchases.

I purchased mine in 1999! yes you read that right. In that time its travelled to five continents, wind, rain snow and in between a little sunshine too. I only found the secret pocket after about 6 years, it was so secret! Loved reading the dittis about lost and found Tilley's from other owners. When I pack my cameras for a 'trip' my last check always has been "Tilly Hat?" Even though its now a little fraid and sorry looking it will always be with me. Though I may need to purchase a new one soon :O(

Looked at Tilley hats for years. Finally got one, recently. Great for walking the dog. Doesnt matter if it rains, you dont get wet! Keeps sun off your face. Just wonderful and well worth the cost.

A big wide brim to keep the sun and rain out of my eyes. Two tie cords, so it stays on when I'm cycling or in the wind. A layer of closed-cell foam; it's not safety gear, but it cushioned me from a light knock on the head, and it floats. If you manage to wear it out, Tilley and co will send you a new one for nearly-free. The Tilley hat, in all its colours, sizes and other variations, is the result of Alex Tilley's personal journey to make the ideal hat for him, which turns out to have some really useful features. You don't even have to worry about it shrinking in the wash, because the material is pre-shrunk. I've had my Tilley for two years and wish I had bought it sooner. They may seem expensive, but are worth the price.
