I currently have used one of these in the mountains wild camping. It is an amazing piece of kit and insulates you fully from the cold ground. Once you have topped up the mattress with air, it stays very firm and comfortable when sleeping on the ground. It is very light and packs down small, even coming with it's own stuff sack. I own the large size which allows me to move around in my sleeping bag without falling off on to the cold ground. To be honest I can't praise this product enough and you'd be stupid not to have this as part of your hiking kit.
