I bought a traditional air mattress for myself last year but it was cold to sleep on. I put a survival blanket under it which cured the problem. Somebody recommended me a Thermarest self-inflating mattress but this make is very expensive so I decided to try Vango's self-inflating mattress in large, 63cm wide and 7.5 cm thick. It turned out to be a very good choice. I made a cotton slip cover for it, brought my own 100% natural fibre feather duvet and pillow from home and I had a very good night's sleep in June temperatures.
