Customer reviews

I previously owned a Vango 65+10 rucksack which I wasn't impressed with and gave me all kinds of jip when using. This year I took part in a challenge over Dartmoor and wanted a bag that was going to be comfortable and perform. Well I can honestly say this is the best bag I have ever used! It was exceptional value for money, does everthing Berghaus claim it can do and, apart from my feet, would have been happy to carry it another 30 miles, well done Berghaus!

As a relative novice I wasn't sure what was really required of a good large rucksack, but having bought the Berghaus C7 1 series 65 +10, I can honestly say you won't need anything else from a bag. I recently completed the West Highland Way with my friend who bought a slightly cheaper bag and can honestly say I'm glad I paid the extra. The main advantage of this bag was the bioflex back system which allows your body and bag to move together and actually makes the weight seem lighter as it becomes part of you. My friend struggled after a couple of days with back pain of which I didn't and I give a lot of credit to the flexibility of this bag. Despite having the built in rain cover this is not adequate for the adverse weather conditions we so often find in this country so and extra bag lining is essential to keep the 'bog' roll dry. I'd give this bag 9/10 for anyone like myself who is starting out on some longer adventures and wants a bag that makes their trip an enjoyable rather than painful experience.

What an amazing bit of kit! The BioFlex back system really does move with your body, making this a truly awesome rucksack. Extremely comfortable to wear and the expandable pockets are handy when extra room is required. Would definitely recommend.

I previously owned a Karrimor 65L rucksack that was very good and I got lots of use out of it. I decided to buy this Berghaus rucksack when me and my friend decided to climb and walk the surrounding areas of Snowdonia. I felt that I need a Rucksack that I could rely on not to be the cause of problems such as rubbing and back fatigue something that did sometimes become a problem with the Karrimor rucksack. This Rucksack is one of, if not the best, pieces of equipment that I own and I feel that if I had not purchased it for the expedition, the trip would have been a disappointment. The thing that makes this rucksack so special is the unique back support that means that the weight of the rucksack is always centered. This is a feature that my last rucksack did not have and makes a world of difference to the comfort of the rucksack. I think that that this rucksack is amazing and is perfect for expeditions of any length and I would recommend it to anyone, a beginner or a professional.
