Spent 3 months in '07 touring France, Pyrenees and Spain on my 55yr old motorbike (7 yrs younger than me). My Beta 250 was perfect since when wet all my sopping wet biking gear - helmet, gloves, boots, leathers, panniers, tank bag etc could be left in the 'porch' away from bedding and clothes. The porch was perfect too for reading and cooking when 'holed up' on wet days.
Taking it on my motorbike to tour Poland this May ('08) with total confidence.
Good compromise between weight and space. Ideal for two car camping. You can cook / read in porch if its raining when you wake up. Good price and well made.
We camped last October on a tiny campsite near Plymouth, a cheap but well organised site, and it poured with rain the whole time. It was so cosy in our little Vango and we stayed completely dry and warm. Definitely my favorite spot to be tucked up listening to the rain and the owls. So cosy!
