Customer reviews

The Berghaus Sentinel 45 is a true leader in its field. The (removable) internal waterproof bag adds an extra dimension and along with the (walking) ice axe storage area between the rucksack and the users back puts this rucksack in a class of its own. The Sentinel is comfortable to wear when fully loaded with all of the items required for a winter assault on the Scottish Munros. Further innovative touches are the emergency instructions inside the (fully removable) lid and the chest strap buckle which doubles as an emergency whistle. The only negative aspect of this bag, that I could find, is that the 3 litre storage area for a water bladder is outside the waterproof bag (inside the main compartment) and you have to unzip the waterproof bag to fit it.
