I had wanted this hat for some time after seeing it online. It was well worth the wait, the hat looks great and is slightly too big in the fit.This is a good thing, I have had several hats that come up slightly too small causing you to get cold ears and in some cases a headache. I have in the past been called cow head so this hat does come up large. I have worn it several times around town but the real test came on a weekend walking around the Brecon Beacons, the wind was howling and the rain was sheeting down but my head remained not only warm but dry. I'm not saying that this hat is waterproof and going to replace your mountain cap but if you do get caught out it won't let you down.
