Unlike any running shoe on the market today, the Bikila was Vibram's first model designed specifically for a more natural, healthy and efficient forefoot strike. Built on an entirely new platform, the Bikila offers more plating protection and distributes forefoot impact without compromising important ground feedback essential to a proper forefoot strike running form. Athletic padded collar and topline and a single hook-and-loop closure finish off this breakthrough design.

AMAZING. I have been looking at these for a while now and after reading what seems like a million reviews, I took the plunge. As I have 'hobbits feet' I struggle to get trainers and shoes in general to fit my unnaturally wide feet. When I got these I wasn't expecting much but I was so very, very wrong. Firstly, after you get past the feeling of basically having gloves on your feet they are incredibly comfy. I had mine on for a few hours and forgot I was wearing them at one point. These really are the comfiest things I have ever worn. I then decided to give them a run out. I was even more surprised by how easy and natural they felt while pounding the pavement, no stones were felt and no blisters were found after. They are genuinely the best and most comfy running shoes I have ever worn. I will be sticking with these and probably trying a different flavour very soon. From a doubter to a lover. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? HELL YES!
