This new shirt is made with a shell of newly developed fabric which is similar to Pertex 6, but with a more textured and softer appearance. Our tests throughout last winter have found the performance of the Active Lite Shirt adequately comparable to the other Teclite range of Shirts and Jackets.

The Active Lite Shirt is slightly shorter than the Special 6, but with internal zip baffles and a longer neck zip. The semi-textured material makes the shirt feel much softer, lighter and a lot quieter. An elasticated hem at the rear finishes off this new shirt.

  • Fabric: PForm high performance mini ripstop outer shell
  • Lining: Fast wicking Teclite micro-pile lining
  • Spacious zipped front map pocket
  • Internal Teclite micro-pile lined baffles on neck and side zips
  • Touch-and-close cuff adjustment tabs
  • Elasticated rear hem adjuster
  • Handwarmer pocket
  • Rucsack hip belt can be fastened through hand warmer pocket
  • Tape and buckle waist adjuster
  • Eight ventilation controls on each shirt including two way side zips

Customer reviews

As per the product description, this is excellent for hard exercise in the cold. I tested this on a hike over the downs (ok I wanted to test it after xmas) in <10C with wind chill and occasional rain. I decided to follow what I'd been reading and wore nothing underneath the shirt. At first, standing in 10C - 6.5C thought I'd made a terrible mistake; however, once I got going - fast walking/tabbing going up and down steep slopes - I was quite amazed at how this kept me warm and also though sweating I never got wet. Excellent bit of kit. NB: Once you have stopped you will chill down rapidly so be sure to have a warm outer layer to throw on afterwards. I would recommend this for steep hikes with pack in spring/autumn; MTB or maybe even running in 0-8C.
