I am quite a dedicated Salomon shoe person. I work in the outdoors and need a versatile yet comfortable shoe. The Xa Pro's have always suppassed themselves for me and I have had the Ultra 2 now for about 6 months and they are still good. They are superlightweight, super comfortable and versatile. Weather I am on teh trail, at teh bottom of a crag or just walking about they have given me what I need and I highly reccomend them. Downside being after 6 months they do leak right at the crease point of the toe and now only keep out the morning dew. That said I am sticking with this model as comfort wise they are unmatched from all teh other brands I have tried!
