This is perhaps the best peice of luggage out on the market! When looking for a travel bag I couldn't decide: case or rucksack? This is BOTH! It fits comfortably on the back so that you forget it isn't a conventional backpack - and then back to wheels when necessary. It is so versatile: lots of stairs? Hup on the back and up/down you go and then swiflty back to wheels, or if you are in a hurry, grab the shoulder strap and off you go! There are enough pockets/dividers so I'm not jealous of the rucksack. I like the fact that although it is a soft bag (and therefore light) it does have a protecting shell at the top for wear and tear. The zip hides away into a little cove at the top. I like the size too - spacious enough to fit most essentials. Some airlines let you take it on board - an added bonus when you just want to get on ahead at arrivals. As for me, it disciplines me into taking just what I need and nothing more. I havn't seen anything like it on the market and definately recommend it - a good investment for travellers!
