I have been a member of 3 walking clubs since the late 80's and I have worn out many a good pair or two of walking boots during those years. Some boots start out impressively good looking and only last a few months others that claimed to be waterproof were anything but. I have tried many leading brands and sometimes been just half impressed with these boots. After many years of discomfort and let down in my boot buying life I came across ASOLO. I had become aware of the good looks of these boots from brief adverts I had seen in walking magazines, I also heard one good report from a friend who had indulged in a pair. I ventured into Liverpool one day to check out the sales and the first thing that caught my eye was a beautiful pair of ASOLO boots in leather. I tried them on in the shop and found them to be immediately comfortable; very impressed I dug deep for the asking price they were not a sale item so I had to pay full whack, dearer than the price asked by OUTDOOR KIT I may add. I have now been using these boots for the last six months, constantly on strenuous and moderate walks throughout the Lake District, and the Peak district. These walks took in various levels and climbs in rough and smooth terrain, I have been very impressed. The boots are a pleasure to put on and remain comfortable all day, Back at the coach I don't feel inclined to change and continue on to the pubs and cafes still wearing them. They are without a doubt the finest and best walking boots I have ever owned. They are worth every penny and I would not wish for another pair. When they need replacing at some long distant point in the future, it will be with another pair of the same make. Jim Eaton - a confirmed lifelong fan of ASOLO.

Bought these boots as I needed something with a stiffer sole for my G10 crampons. Overall they are an excellent boot, and didn't take long to wear in. The only down side to them is that they are pretty heavy.
