Customer reviews

As per the product description, this is excellent for hard exercise in the cold. I tested this on a hike over the downs (ok I wanted to test it after xmas) in <10C with wind chill and occasional rain. I decided to follow what I'd been reading and wore nothing underneath the shirt. At first, standing in 10C - 6.5C thought I'd made a terrible mistake; however, once I got going - fast walking/tabbing going up and down steep slopes - I was quite amazed at how this kept me warm and also though sweating I never got wet. Excellent bit of kit. NB: Once you have stopped you will chill down rapidly so be sure to have a warm outer layer to throw on afterwards. I would recommend this for steep hikes with pack in spring/autumn; MTB or maybe even running in 0-8C.
